In the EZIBUY Men’s Open, recently selected NZ Masters representative, PN’s Mike McSherry justified his selection in beating rival Masters player Wellington’s top seeded Willie Bicknell, in a tough fought five set match. NZ ranked and Central’s top woman, Paula Darlington defended her title she won last year taking the EZIBUY Women’s Open in four sets from Wellington’s Michayla Kerr. While McSherry represents NZ in Australia, the other 3 finalists compete for their respective districts in the NZ Championships early next month in Auckland.
