Grant Watts on Squash NZ Coaching Advisory panel

A Squash New Zealand Coaching Advisory Panel has been appointed. This panel will advise on the delivery of the National Coaching Strategy, providing support for, and acting as a sounding board for the National Coaching Director, Dave Clarke.

Club coach and coach of the Squashgym academy, Grant Watts, has been selected as part of this panel.

The members of the Coaching Advisory Panel include;

 Pat Barwick who is from Canterbury and is on the panel in an external consultant role. She is the Director of Coaching at Sport Canterbury and is the Ex NZ Hockey Coach.

 Dave Clarke who is the National Coaching Director at Squash NZ and the Coaching Team Leader at Sport BOP

 Graeme Randolph (BOP). Graeme is a qualified coach and works full time at the Whakatane Squash Club. He has been involved in many projects at a club level.

 Paul Sykes (Northland). Paul is a qualified coach and is currently a managing sport and recreation program at North Tec.

 Grant Watts (Central). Grant is a qualified coach and has superb program management skills as well as an excellent club based knowledge.

The Panel's role will include

 Contributing to the wider coaching community.

 Adjudicating the Squash New Zealand Coaching awards.

 Developing a comprehensive overview of the Squash New Zealand Coaching Strategy.

 Be available to advise and support for the Squash New Zealand Coaching Team.
