Palmy win Town v Country
On Saturday Palmy Defeated a composite Wellington in the first ever Town v Country.
Palmy came out on top 11 - 4 in a mixture of singles and doubles. Match of the day saw Club Kelburn manager Rob Walker defeat SquashGym's Brent Foster 18 - 16 in the fifth. This was one of many close matches. Justin Brown from Pahiatua also won 16 - 14 in the fifth, this was a huge effort for the man who left on his horse on Wednesday to come represent the Country team!!
Another feature match saw SquashGym youngster Joseph Watts take on former world number 3 Stuart Davenport. Watts proved to quick for Davenport winning in three straight.
A good night was had by all after with a few yarns told well into the night!
