Speights Champions Lounge Bar Officially opened!!

The new and improved upstairs Squash bar has been officially re opened as 'Speights Champions Lounge Bar'.

The Squash club has put a lot of time and effort into upgrading this facility over the past six months that now sees it with a state of the art Bar and lounge. It has been a massive effort from the Club to pull it all together in such a short period of time.

One of the encouraging aspects of the development was the willingness of club members to donate time to help with the physical labour of the bar. None more so than Lindsay Petterson who acted as project manager. Lindsay has spent 100's of hours up there this year and the club is forever indebted to him. Lindsay had a number of other helpers (too many to mention) that also made a significant contribution.

SquashGym would also like to thank Lion Breweries for their support and Eastern & Central Community Trust who helped fund the new carpet in the lounge.
